Ekkasit Muay Thai Gym is a Muay Thai and boxing gym on Thung Klom-Tan Man 9 in Nong Prue, on the east side of Pattaya. It was founded and is run by Iranian fighter and coach Reza Ahmadnezhad. The steel-roofed training hall has a full-size ring with the Ekkasit logo on the canvas, rows of heavy bags, a matted floor for pad work and flags from around the world. The gym is powered by ACTA Fightgear. Training covers Muay Thai, boxing, kickstriking and strength & conditioning, for everyone from beginners to professional fighters. The gym runs fight-camp sparring and coaches a fight team whose members compete on cards such as Max Muay Thai's The Global Fight in Pattaya and Rajadamnern Knockout. Group training is 500 THB for one session (700 THB for two in a day), 4,500 THB a week or 9,000 THB a month for one session a day, and 7,000 THB a week or 12,000 THB a month for two. Private classes are 1,000 THB (9,000 THB for ten). One-hour private sessions with Coach Reza, whom the gym bills as a Muay Thai world champion, are 2,000 THB (17,000 THB for ten, plus one free). Private boxing classes are taught by coach Hoseyn Rokhneh.

Founder & Coach

Founder and owner of Ekkasit Muay Thai Gym. An Iranian Muay Thai fighter who has fought on the Rajadamnern World Series in Bangkok, he is billed by the gym as a Muay Thai world champion. He teaches one-hour private sessions: 2,000 THB, or 17,000 THB for ten plus one free.

Hoseyn Rokhneh

Boxing Coach

Boxing and Muay Thai coach who teaches the gym's private boxing classes. The gym describes him as an Olympic boxing coach, and his own profile lists a gold medal at an Asian Muay Thai championship.
