About
WBC MuayThai Australia is the Australian branch of WBC MuayThai, the World Boxing Council's Muay Thai body headquartered in Bangkok. It sanctions professional Muay Thai across the country, from state and Australian titles to WBC international and world title fights on promoters' cards such as the 1774 Muaythai Series in Sydney and MuayThai Super Series in Perth, and selects Team Australia for WBC MuayThai international tournaments in Bangkok. Its amateur program, WBC Amateur Muay Thai Australia, is a not-for-profit initiative that runs the WBC Muay Thai Games, with free membership for athletes, coaches, clubs and officials and a pathway from a first amateur bout to the national team.
