About
About
Leviathan Martial Arts is a south Denver martial arts school on S Huron St that has been teaching students of every age and level for more than six years. The core program combines Muay Thai, MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, alongside Sanda (Chinese kickboxing) for kids, a dirty-boxing class that mixes boxing with MMA clinch work, and a Saturday fight team for students who want to compete. Muay Thai and BJJ run at 8 and 9 AM Tuesday through Thursday, youth Sanda and youth MMA fill the late afternoons, and evenings bring MMA, Muay Thai fundamentals and advanced Muay Thai. Sundays pack in an all-ages Sanda class, women's self-defense and a seniors (55+) session, Muay Thai, BJJ and a free open mat from 3 to 4 PM. Monday afternoons are kept for one-on-one private lessons. The school describes itself as Indigenous-owned, veteran-owned and LGBTQ-friendly, and puts discipline, respect and confidence at the center of training. New students can try a class for free and borrow gloves and shin guards on day one; memberships are billed weekly, from one class a week up to unlimited family training.
