Torres Top Team BJJ (T3 BJJ) is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy on North Parsons Avenue in Brandon, Florida, affiliated with Tactics Jiu-Jitsu. It opened at this address in May 2024 with a grand-opening seminar taught by head instructor Tony Torres, and describes itself as a school rooted in technique, family, friendship and perseverance. Professor Tony Torres is a Brandon native who started training at 12, in 2004. He trained under Joey Best and Johnny Weisser at Ybor City Jiu-Jitsu Club, going from white belt to black belt, and was promoted on March 2, 2024 as the 7th black belt under Joey Best of Tactics Jiu-Jitsu. He has competed gi and no-gi at every belt level and has refereed for Grappling Industries, COPA and Arte Suave. The schedule runs gi and no-gi classes at 6am, 11am and 7pm Monday to Thursday, an intro gi class at 6pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, kids classes (ages 4-15) every weekday at 5pm, wrestling on Tuesdays, women's classes upstairs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, an invite-only competition class, striking and an open mat on Saturdays, and a Sunday Master's class for ages 30 and up. Kids memberships are $99 a month, adults $129, a family plan $250, drop-ins $20 a class, and the first class is free.
