In 2025, Ingrid and Mauro flew from Chile to Asia as a family—with their daughter, who turned two on their first day there. Ingrid was chasing a path in the cage as a professional fighter. Mauro had spent years as a web developer building for martial arts businesses. They were ready for the work. They weren't ready for how hard it would be just to find where to train.

There wasn't one trustworthy place to look. Most leads came from social media, DMs, and tips passed through fighters you already know. That helps—until you land in a new city and the map in your head goes blank.

The missing pieces went far past the gym schedule: where to stay with a young family, how to get around, what to do between sessions, where to buy gear you can trust, and what training culture is really like on the ground. Clear information was scattered or outdated, and each new destination meant starting the same search from zero.
