About
About
Sitsongpeenong ("Brothers Sitsongpeenong") is a Muay Thai camp in a quiet gated housing estate in Nong Bon, Prawet, on the east side of Bangkok, about 20 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport and 30 minutes from downtown. Founded by owner Tim, it has produced champions such as Kem, Sitthichai and Thananchai (2023 WBC Muay Thai super welterweight world champion), and its pro fighters train alongside the guests. Head trainer Ajarn Monlit leads a coaching team that includes Janjao, Jakkit, Chen and former stadium fighter Mr. Bang. The camp has over 180 sqm of training space with two full-size rings and a weight training area, plus a dining area and a games room for downtime. Guests stay on site in air-conditioned single or twin-share rooms with breakfast and dinner, and the camp keeps around three students per trainer. Training runs Monday to Saturday: an optional 5:30 run, a morning session at 7:00 and an afternoon session from 2:30, with separate groups for students (beginner to advanced) and for amateur and pro fighters. Private 1-on-1 lessons fill the midday break. Drop-ins can train one or two sessions (600 THB a session, 1,000 THB for two in a day); longer stays train as guests of the camp, from 1,650 THB a night in a twin-share room with two sessions a day. The camp also runs a 16-day Muaythai Instructor Certification Course twice a year and offers airport pickups.
