About
Sparta Sports & Entertainment is a Colorado combat sports promoter and the home of the Sparta Combat League (SCL), founded by Jeff Cisneros and now in its 17th season. It runs numbered Sparta cards (Sparta 114 is next), Sparta Fight Night, Army vs Marines (AVM) shows and Sparta Ring Kings, with professional and amateur MMA, boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai and bare-knuckle bouts in both the cage and the ring. Recent cards have been held at the Blue FCU Arena in Loveland and the Blue Sport Stable in Superior, and Sparta has also run shows in Wyoming. Fights stream on Sparta's own pay-per-view, and the promotion has long tied its cards to giving back to the community.
