On June 5, 2026, the KOMBAT circuit arrives in São Paulo for the Kombat Challenge Series K-021, a multi-discipline fight night that brings Kombat Taekwondo and Kombat Jiu Jitsu together on a single card. For martial arts fans in Brazil, and for travelers planning a trip around live combat sports, it is one of the most accessible ways this year to watch professional-level talent compete across more than one style in a single evening.
The event is staged by Kombat Taekwondo Brazil (KT Brasil) and runs as part of the worldwide KOMBAT series. It also carries institutional support from the City of São Paulo through the Secretaria de Esportes e Lazer (Department of Sport and Leisure), a sign of how seriously the local scene is taking this stop on the calendar.

Part of the global KOMBAT family
KOMBAT, also known as Kombat Global, is the world's premier professional combat sports organization. It is the home of Kombat Taekwondo and has been expanding across Kombat Kickboxing, Kombat Jiu Jitsu, Kombat Kun Khmer, and Kombat MMA, all under one unified, professional fight format. The organization sits alongside the Professional Taekwondo Federation, which positions itself as a world governing body for professional and amateur Taekwondo.
K-021 is the latest stop in a true global series. Recent and upcoming editions have run in Nice (France), Santiago (Chile), Bogotá (Colombia), Querétaro (Mexico), and San Salvador (El Salvador), with a Kombat Grand Prix and World Title Championships set for Phnom Penh, Cambodia, later in 2026, and a Kombat Taekwondo World Championship in Korea. São Paulo now joins that map, putting Brazil firmly on the KOMBAT calendar.
Who is KT Brasil
Kombat Taekwondo Brazil describes itself as part of "a new era of world Taekwondo." Rather than operating as a traditional federation, it positions itself as a company where practitioners of any Taekwondo style can take part as partners, with a stated philosophy of growth without exploitation and support for athletes and coaches to work with freedom and independence. The organization has also announced plans for an official Taekwondo training center in Brazil, built around high pedagogical and physical-structure standards. Its headquarters sit in São Paulo, the same city now hosting K-021.

K-021 splits into two halves on the night, Kombat Taekwondo first and Kombat Jiu Jitsu to follow. Here is the announced card.

The fight weekend
K-021 is built as a full weekend rather than a single night, which is good news if you are planning to travel in for it. Athletes arrive in São Paulo on June 3, with the official weigh-in on June 4 from 15:00 to 17:00 at the athletes' hotel, the Living Hotel Flex Inn (Rua Milton, 281, Vila Guilherme).
Fight day is June 5. The morning opens with a Technical Congress from 09:00 to 11:00, followed by a dedicated Kun Khmer course from 11:00 to 13:00, a nod to KOMBAT's growing Kun Khmer programme and a chance for local athletes to learn the traditional Cambodian striking art first-hand. Hand-wrapping begins at the hotel from 17:00, athletes depart at 18:00, and the action starts at around 19:00, with Kombat Jiu Jitsu kicking off near 19:10 ahead of Kombat Taekwondo. Athletes head home on June 6.
Where to watch
The fight night is hosted in the Vila Guilherme district of São Paulo (Av. Ataliba Leonel, 1772). For fans outside Brazil, follow Kombat Taekwondo Brazil on Instagram at @kombat_taekwondo_brazil for streaming details and live updates as fight night approaches.
Next on the KOMBAT calendar
If K-021 leaves you wanting more, KOMBAT's next major stop is the Kombat Grand Prix & World Title Championships in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on June 27, 2026, the promotion's headline event in Southeast Asia with world titles on the line across Kombat Taekwondo and Kombat Kun Khmer.
